You are ready to sell your home.

You have made all the preparations. Your home is cleaned, staged, and ready to put on the market.

Did you know that buying or selling a home is one of the most stressful experiences a person will encounter throughout their life?  It is right up there with marriage, divorce or the death of a loved one. This is a why it is a very good reason to use an experienced REALTOR® to help you through the process.

Placing the sign in the front of your home is just the beginning of the process.  Your real estate broker will help you to decide how to price your home for the current market. This will help you get qualified buyers who are interested in seeing your home and possibly making an offer.  Your real estate broker will prepare advertising for the internet, have a professional photographer take pictures of your home prior to it going on the market and help you with the finalization of any other steps you need to take care of before the big day.

You should make plans to be away from the home while your home is being shown so the buyer feels comfortable looking around your home with their broker.  Your broker will then follow up with the buyer’s broker for feedback to see if the buyers are interested in making an offer or any issues that they may state that may be needed to be taken care of to get an offer.

When an offer is presented, your REALTOR® will go through the offers and provide you with the net proceeds and help you decide which offer is the best depending on timelines, financing and other concerns that you may need to be comfortable accepting the offer.
Your REALTOR® will then follow the process to the end, helping you stay on track with the requirements of the time lines set forth in the purchase and sale agreement such as the buyer’s financing, inspections and closing date.  Your REALTOR® will also follow up and make sure the buyer and the seller are following all time lines and there will be no unexpected delays.  If you have concerns, fears or apprehensions, your REALTOR® is there to help alleviate these so you can continue moving forward with the least amount of stress possible.
